The topic of the paper highlights the significant characteristics of the Lasva River water, presented through analyses of physical and chemical parameters used in determining water quality. Physical and chemical characteristics of water affect the biological composition of water and affect the final status and composition of water. General physical and chemical
parameters and the effects of significant human pressures on them can serve as excellent indicators for assessing the risk of not achieving good water status before undertaking any activities or planned monitoring. This paper presents analyses of physical and chemical parameters that show water quality and water status. Samples were taken from three different
locations of the Lasva River. Physical and chemical parameters of the sampled water are presented through the analysis of pH, water turbidity, oxygen, water conductivity, nitrate and phosphate content, water alkalinity, salinity, TDS. The above indicates the assessment of water and pollution, monitoring the condition of natural watercourses, and thus controlling
technological processes. Through the entire work and the values presented, we will come to a conclusion and present a picture of the water condition of the Lasva River from samples taken from 3 locations in the city of Travnik, because of monitoring of qualitz water of the Lasva River.
