The rapid development of technology, especially over the last two decades, has affected almost every area of life, making the digital revolution impossible to ignore. The use of laptops, smartphones and numerous other solutions is now considered normal and firmly integrated into our everyday lives, and is taken for granted. The business world requires the application
of cutting-edge new technologies, which offer countless possibilities for their active use. With digitalization and the rapid development of technological solutions, there is a trend of reducing harmful emissions, in terms of sustainable development, which is most pronounced in the consumption of fossil fuels. To this end, it is necessary to accept the required changes,
especially the introduction of modern and innovative technologies, and to win over customers who have different expectations than twenty years ago. Market changes, in quantitative and qualitative terms, in the era of real-time information availability, will imply not only the application of AI technologies, but also changing the reserved attitudes of customers in the
segment that most burdens sustainable development, which is the use of fossil fuels in the sphere of transport. The paper therefore addresses the issue of the need to develop innovative solutions and improve existing technologies, in order to ensure sustainable development and reduce harmful carbon emissions, for the sake of a green recovery.
