The theoretical definition of the concept itself is becoming an important scientific discipline for identifying the causes and consequences of violations of a society's security and stability. The purpose of the research is not only to define terrorism but also to develop a comprehensive, cooperative approach to combating it. In addition to the definition of terrorism, it is crucial to understand the concept of victimisation in the context of terrorist acts. Victimisation refers to the process through which individuals or groups become victims of violence, experiencing physical, psychological or social consequences. The role of victimology in the field of terrorism also includes prevention and rehabilitation. Through empirical research, vulnerable groups, such as children and minorities, are identified, and strategies for reducing risk are proposed. For example, in Europe, after the attacks in Paris in 2015, victimological approaches helped create support networks that reduced secondary victimisation by protecting the privacy of victims and providing legal assistance.
